Academic Awards
Diploma in Education, Diploma in Religious Studies, and Bachelor of Education programmes are offered through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and Tangaza College.
All students are initially enrolled in the diploma programme. Students who qualify, with a minimum of C+ cumulative average score during the diploma programme may apply for the Bachelor of Education programme.

Transfer of Credits
Credits may be transferred to CTIE from other accredited institutions of tertiary education. The number of credits accepted in transfer generally will not exceed 50% of the total number of credits required for a diploma or a degree programme. All transferred credits must have a minimum of a C+ grade. An official original transcript of credits must be submitted.
A student who is a transfer from another accredited institution of tertiary education generally should expect to attend CTIE for a minimum of three semesters (or complete at least 55 credits) for the diploma and a total of four semesters (or complete at least 73 credits) for the Bachelor of Education degree programme. All CTIE criteria must have been satisfied prior to qualifying for the diploma and/or the degree.
