angaza College over a period of time has acquired an IT infrastructure, resources and capabilities to meet its information processing requirements and the needs of its community of users- management, administrators, lecturers and students. We have also managed to achieve our mission, goals, objectives, and processes through the IT department. Tangaza College leverages IT to achieve operational efficiency and at the same time effectively use the technology to support the strategic direction of the college. The Information Technology Department provides core IT services to the college.

These include the desktop support, the internal network, Internet access, along with a number of key applications like enrollment and admissions, email, calendaring, library, finance and human resources.

Tangaza College provides computers for use by students. This computing resource is shared by a large community. To assist in the maintenance of the computer, a computer Lab fee is charged to every student per semester.

Printing facilities
Printing facilities are also provided by the college, charged by number of pages printed. 

The following rules are designed to assist us in the use of this resource:-

  • Each student using the computer Lab is expected to have computer certification, which means that the student is able to operate a computer and has knowledge of the necessary programs.
  • In addition, a student must have Printing paper
  • All problems or assistance should be reported to the computer lad attendant
  • Students are not allowed to shut down the computer in the lab after use
  • No edibles are allowed in the Computer Lab

Cyber Café

    The College has a cyber café where students are allowed to surf the internet.

    The following rules need to be followed to good use of the cyber café:

  • When the cyber café is busy, a student can only surf for a maximum of 1 hour per day. 
  • Two minutes before exhaustion of the hour mentioned in the aforesaid paragraph, the system will automatically give you a warning and will automatically log you off when your time expires.
  • Each user will be given a temporary account and password for that day which will be generated in the Computer office

Saturday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Sunday and Public holidays closed
